Nineteen
is an intimate 8 bedroom luxury B&B in a tastefully converted Victorian
town house in Brighton’s Kemp Town area, just a pebble’s throw from the beach
and the pier. Our road, Broad Street, isn’t a main thoroughfare, but it is
moments away from myriad bars, clubs and restaurants and just 3 minutes walk
from the famous Lanes and the stunning Royal Pavilion.
Our philosophy is to offer our guests the highest standards of care and
service, including full concierge support and planning for your stay, which
you will not find even at the biggest, most expensive hotels in Brighton
and beyond. We want you to feel special, valued and very much at home
here. As Time Out wrote, “It’s like staying at a (very stylish) mate’s house”. You
will not feel like you’re just a room number.
From the moment you book with us you will start to see the difference at Nineteen. On your day of arrival we will phone you to offer help with your journey planning, and if you arrive by car we will jump in with you to help you to park.
Because Nineteen is a small business, we do not have 24 hour reception. But we will always be here to welcome you at whatever time you tell us you will be arriving. Normal check in is from 1pm to 9pm and check out is by 12 noon. Variations to these times should be agreed in advance, subject to staff and room availability.
In your room you’ll find all of the things you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay and none of the chintz and clutter you don’t. We’ve got Molton Brown products, crisp white cotton sheets, fluffy white towels and bath robes. We’ve got free Wi-Fi wireless Internet, and we’ll even lend you a laptop if you didn’t bring your own. We’ve a wide range of amenity items to give you if you’ve forgotten anything, complimentary slippers and we even provide ear plugs in every room in case you don’t like the sound of seagulls (or your partner’s snoring!).
Nineteen features its own eclectic and exciting private collection of contemporary artwork throughout, showcasing works by Brighton based, UK and international artists working in paint, photography, ceramics and mixed media.
